This position sits within the Brand and Marketing team. The Head of Marketing Programmes is a key member of ACCA\'s Brand and Marketing team, responsible for planning the creation and deployment of our global strategic marketing and communication strategy. Due to the global nature of this role, we can consider candidates that are based in any of our ACCA office locations, however to balance a globally distributed team, we are ideally looking for candidates that are based in either Malaysia or Singapore and can offer remote working options if required. Responsible for a team of marketing planners, each focused on specific customer groups, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop aligned and insight-led plans across all customer groups, channels and platforms in order to grow market share, enhance customer satisfaction and promote ACCA\'s global reputation. You will lead the development and delivery of compelling and effective integrated marketing campaigns to attract, engage and retain a variety of target audiences and drive forward our brand profile and perception

The Job

  • Provides direction to the brand and marketing teams to protect, enhance and drive ACCA\'s reputation, public profile and brand
  • Leads the strategic and operational planning of ACCA\'s global brand and marketing campaigns and communications to deliver a consistent customer experience across all stakeholder groups and to create high brand impact with partners, stakeholders, and prospective customers.
  • Leads the development and delivery of comprehensive \'go to market\' plans to support the global delivery of content and solutions, ensuring relevance across our market portfolio and all potential and existing customers
  • Owns and delivers recruitment, progression, continuous learning and retention targets for the customer groups. Oversees regular and accessible reporting against measures and progress against the global marketing plan, providing variance analysis and narrative for appropriate stakeholders with key focus on numbers and ROI.
  • Manages relationships with teams across the organisation to ensure visibility of strategies and plans and ensure new initiatives, products and services are incorporated into global plans.
  • Leads and inspires the marketing planning team by role modelling the ACCA behaviours, building employee engagement, promoting diversity and inclusion and building understanding of ACCA\'s culture and values


The Person
  • Demonstrable experience of providing leadership and direction in a senior role
  • Extensive experience of B2B, B2C and B2B2C marketing strategy and planning within a professional and results-driven environment
  • Demonstrable experience of high-level development and delivery of marketing strategy and planning to impact business performance and change
  • Proven track record in marketing content creation and copywriting
  • Ability to think strategically, communicate strategic vision to large groups effectively and align marketing activities to wider organisational goals
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure and work to strict deadlines
  • Proven track record of problem-solving, overcoming challenges and making informed decisions based on all available information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflicting and changing priorities from different business areas and stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve results
  • Commercially focussed to generate clear return on investment
