The companies primarily focused on the manufacture and delivery of quality metal & plastic automotive parts to customers through an integrated supply chain system. These products are distributed to local market in Malaysia as well as exported to over 50 countries around the world, including Asia, Central & South America, Middle East, Europe & Africa.

Responsibilities:

Manage and continually improve every aspect of the supply chain including planning, logistics, warehousing, and shipping function safely with the aim of ensuring optimum level of resource utilization to meet production, inventory, and customer service needs within process, facility, and cost constraints.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of supply chain management function as well as the planning and directing of activities and operations of the business

\xc2\xb7 Work closely with corresponding internal stakeholders in development of, and understanding of, sales forecast; sourcing requirements and production demand to ensure minimum production disruption

\xc2\xb7 Drive consolidation of supply chain with focus on economies of scale as grows and expands, and improves leverage with localised supply base

\xc2\xb7 Be accountable for local shipping and warehousing resources to meet the plant operations and outbound shipment requirements

\xc2\xb7 The incumbent is also required to establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.

\xc2\xb7 Analyses current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.

\xc2\xb7 Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals.

\xc2\xb7 Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes. Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.

\xc2\xb7 Initiate Automation Programs to streamline business and work process for Supply Chain.

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor Degree or MBA in Business Administration (or similar field)

\xc2\xb7 More than 15 years of working experience in a Supply Chain Management function preferably in a manufacturing environment.

\xc2\xb7 More than 8 years of management experience, ideally with first experience in mid- to senior management position(s)

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently with a sense of business acumen capable of presenting logical and well-structured proposals

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel in a multi-national environment

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills and process oriented

\xc2\xb7 Profound project management skills
