Our client, is an established as an integrated solution provider servicing the Industrial, Mining, Oil & Gas and Power sectors, which is increasingly gaining popularity to be the manufacturing hub throughout Southeast Asia. Job Summary and Outcomes

Summary

Lead and direct the complete People and Culture portfolio which includes people strategy and planning, HR operations, people development and culture transformation. The portfolio will include setting people strategy, directions and goals, talent planning and execution, succession planning and career pathing, with learning and development which are aligned to the company strategic direction and goals.

  • Key talent is hired, developed and retained to lead business growth.
  • Strategies and goals are implemented effectively as per people strategy, plans and deliverables.
  • Talent is developed to meet current and future needs with strong leadership strengths.
  • Culture development plans and initiatives are implemented, and goals achieved.
  • Strong employee engagement built through clear goals and leadership capabilities.
  • HR Operations are well managed in accordance to HR Policies and Procedures.
  • People costs are well managed within cost allocations.
Job Responsibilities

People & Culture Development
  • Develop and align people strategies and plans to align with Dancomair\'s business direction and growth plans.
  • Develop and direct initiatives to attract, develop and retain talent in the organization.
  • Review resource needs from a strategic and holistic approach to ensure there is a continuous pipeline of talent. This includes optimising resources, strategic manpower planning, development, sourcing and selection.
  • Develop and lead strategic people initiatives and systems to build a high-performance culture.
  • Lead and engage leaders to build employee engagement through clear directions and goals, strong leader-team relationship, trust and empowerment, collaboration, recognition and appreciation, with the outcome of building a high performance culture.
  • Review effectiveness of people and culture initiatives and systems and take appropriate action to ensure its objectives and outcomes are met.
  • Review people costs to ensure they are well managed within cost allocations.
People Development
  • Develop and drive people development strategies, goals and plans in developing talent for now and the future that are aligned to Dancomair\'s business direction and goals.
  • Apply assessment techniques to identify high potential parties for accelerated development for succession planning and growth.
  • Build a pipeline of talent through clear identification of competency strengths and gaps and focused talent development programmes.
  • Lead Talent Review Meetings to review talent\'s development progress, assessment and next course of action to ensure talent are developed and retained.
Requirements
  • Possess a Master or Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent
  • At least 10 -12 years of relevant experience in people management and development preferably, with some experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Has at least 3 - 5 years of senior management experience.
  • Hands-on, broad based sound HR knowledge and experience in people management and development.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to interact, engage and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker and planner with the ability to set clear people directions and goals for the organisation and team.
  • A decision maker who applies innovative and critical thinking with well-thought out solutions to resolve problems and issues.
  • Ability to listen, coach and counsel others.
  • Keep abreast with new developments in HR and legislative frameworks and laws, leadership, management, learning and development so that new thinking and practices can be applied to improve systems and grow people and the organization.
Salary RM15,000 (negotiable). The position reports to the CEO
