Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Able to perform all the duties and responsibilities of an Early Intervention Program (EIP)Senior Teacher.
  • Lead in developing the Individualized Education Program for each child.
  • Approve placement of child in Early Intervention Program (EIP).
  • Ensure smooth running of the IEP classes accordingly including approving teachers leave application.
  • Perform lesson planning with teachers quarterly.
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate students\xe2\x80\x99 progress and communicate effectively with all stakeholders accordingly.
  • Lead IEP meetings with parents quarterly; verifies that the necessary records and other legal documents are completed and processed by teachers involved; ready for reference or reports.
  • Handle all enquiries regarding EIP and work with team for enrolment and/or therapy.
  • Continually evaluate existing programs and practices, curriculum contents and programs for the purpose of continuous improvement and/or compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise, monitor and motivate the Teachers and create a positive environment for personnel and students.
  • Advise management on the overall progress and directions of students and teachers.
  • Provides and recommends appropriate continuous training for self and team.
  • Oversees the safety of the environment and personnel. Reports any incidents or accidents to Centre Manager.
  • Conduct interview with Centre Manager.
  • Prepares the EIP budgets and maintains control over budgetary allocations.
  • Attend and participate with staff meetings, staff development, business development and peer sharing.
  • Support the overall business directions of the company.
A successful candidate should:
  • Have at least 4 years of teaching in Special Needs Education
  • Have at least 2 years of management experience
  • Innovate to improve the quality of the curriculum offer to address social disadvantage
  • Have knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
  • Have educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
  • Possess well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
  • Be able to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
Job Type: Permanent Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month Benefits:
