About the job Head, Technology Management:Lead the technology department, crafting a strategic vision that encompasses software development, project management, infrastructure and robust cybersecurity measures. The Head will also drive the adoption of best practices in project management, software development and cybersecurity, keeping the organization ahead of technological advancements.\xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfJob Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a clear vision for the technology department, with a strong focus on project management, software development, integration, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  • Lead the Development & Integration team to design, develop, and implement software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Ensures seamless integration between various software systems, databases, and applications.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in software development and integration processes, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
  • Spearhead the development of a cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the latest industry standards and protects the organization against emerging threats.
  • Foster an organizational culture that prioritizes cybersecurity awareness and adherence to security best practices.
  • Lead the Project Management team to ensure that IT projects are evaluated, sourced and implemented successfully.
  • Liaise with external partners, vendors, and consultants to build strategic relationships that enhance the organizations technological capabilities.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in technology development, integration, and cybersecurity, and assess the potential impact on the organizations operations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to managers and their teams, ensuring high levels of team engagement and competence development.
  • Manage departmental budgets and forecasting, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to support departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Report on the department\'s progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management and relevant committees.
\xef\xbb\xbfJob Requirement:
  • \xef\xbb\xbfMinimum of 10 years experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven track record of leading technology departments, particularly in development, project management, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
  • Technically strong to guide development team in microservices, cloud technology, Java, Spring Boot and Flutter.
  • Possess TOGAF certificate, but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and work effectively with diverse teams.
