Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading Implementation of Risk Frameworks, Policies and Governance across Tune Protect Group

• Developing and operationalizing Financial Risk Management framework, process and measurement across the Group.
• Ensuring effective monitoring and review of Risk Appetite Statements - including the dimensions, alerts, limits, indicators and escalation.
• Timely review of ICAAP - including formulating of Stress Testing and review of the Capital Management Plan

Reporting to Management Governance Committee, Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors

• Prepare / Complete all relevant materials/ papers on timely basis highlighting key risks, mitigating controls and action owner

Other Ad-hoc Review and Analysis as and when required by Board and Management, such as:

• New product, business and strategic initiatives
• Capital adequacy review and projection
• Risk-based Capital Planning

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related discipline
• 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Product, or Pricing - preferably in a Financial Institution
• Progress towards qualification in a recognised Actuarial Profession, CFA or FRM is preferable

• Thought leadership - able to advise on best practices in area of Financial Risk, and able to be a Subject Matter Expert or Reference Point internally and externally

• Stakeholder management - Upwards management with the Senior Management, Board and regulators on their expectations
• Business Acumen - Ability and desire to understand the business and its challenges, as well as to support business initiatives whilst remaining true to the risk governance framework
