Requirements

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote software and in-person, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, escalating complex issues to senior engineers as needed.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and hardware components, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a detailed and organized manner using the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for incident management, problem resolution, and change control, adhering to ITIL best practices.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve recurring technical issues, contributing to the development of knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to end-users, ensuring their technical issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for meetings and presentations.
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting, including diagnosing connectivity issues and resolving network printer problems.
  • Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate records of equipment locations and software licenses.
Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and hardware components, adhering to company standards and security protocols.
  • Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors, following established escalation procedures and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points, under the guidance of senior network engineers.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation, including knowledge base articles, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication, ensuring end-users are kept informed of the status of their support requests and resolutions.
