is responsible for generating revenue by securing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting the hotel's services, rooms, meeting spaces, and events. They develop sales strategies, identify new market opportunities, and work closely with operations teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate, group, leisure, and event markets.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve room-night and revenue targets.
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, presentations, and networking events.
Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate accounts, event planners, and local businesses.
2. Account Management
Manage existing client accounts to ensure repeat business.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
Monitor account performance and adjust strategies to maximize revenue.
3. Revenue & Market Analysis
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and guest preferences.
Work with the revenue management team to set room rates and forecast demand.
Track and report sales performance metrics.
4. Event & Group Coordination
Collaborate with catering, events, and front office teams to coordinate group bookings and conferences.
Ensure all client expectations are communicated clearly to operations staff.
Assist with planning and managing large group stays or special events.
5. Marketing & Promotion
Support promotional campaigns, trade shows, and hotel branding initiatives.
Contribute ideas for marketing materials and social media campaigns.
Represent the hotel at community events and industry functions.
