Job Description

This job requires managing both human resources functions, such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, as well as general office administration tasks, including managing office equipment, supplies, insurance, clinic procedures, meeting room bookings, and handling mail and email correspondence. Recruitment: - Plan and organize recruitment events and activities. - Advertise job openings, screen resumes, and conduct interviews. - Prepare employment contracts and handle employee orientation. Compensation & Benefits: - Manage monthly payroll and handle tax and statutory submissions. - Conduct employee appraisals and prepare necessary forms. Employee Relations: - Monitor attendance and handle employee grievances. - Maintain HR records and manage leave requests. - Conduct exit interviews. Other HR-related Activities: - Assist with general HR tasks and maintain documentation. General Office Administration: - Responsible for various administrative tasks within the office. - Oversee the smooth operation of daily administrative activities. Office Equipment Management: - Manage office equipment and ensure their proper functioning. Insurance: - Handle insurance matters related to the company building, executives, and HQ staff. - Coordinate insurance claims for staff and manage clinic procedures.
Company overview Thirty three years ago, in 1975, a group of travel and tour agents initiated an association to represent their interests. That association, aptly named Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents or MATTA for short, started with 30 members. The founder of MATTA was the late Mr Loh Yit Lock who was also the 1st President. History Today, MATTA boasts a membership of over 3100 members and increasing, comprising local tour and travel organizations as well as numerous overseas affiliations. It is also the national umbrella representative body for the entire travel industry in the country. With a full time secretariat in Kuala Lumpur, its headquarters, MATTA has state chapters in Kedah, Penang, Perak, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Selangor, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. MATTA\'s objective is to promote the interests of the travel and tour industry in Malaysia. MATTA works closely with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture as well as Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB), help organise fairs, seminars, convention and workshops both to create public awareness of the tourism industry as well as to benefit its members.
