Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Human Resources (HR):



Assist in maintaining and updating employee personal files, leave, and attendance records. Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling. Assist in preparing HR-related documentation (letters, memos, contracts, etc.) under supervision. Provide support in payroll preparation by compiling attendance, overtime, and allowance data. Help in coordinating training sessions, employee engagement activities, and performance appraisals. Ensure HR practices comply with the Employment Act 1955 and company policies. Assist in handling employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters under guidance.

Administration:



Help manage office supplies, stationery, and equipment. Assist in handling company correspondence and maintaining filing/documentation systems. Support in arranging logistics for meetings, staff events, and training sessions. Liaise with vendors and service providers for administrative needs. Assist in monitoring office upkeep, safety, and compliance with regulations. Prepare simple HR and administrative reports for management review.

Learning Outcomes / Exposure



Gain hands-on experience in HR operations, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. Exposure to Malaysian Employment Law (Employment Act 1955) and compliance practices. Develop organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Learn how HR and Administration functions support overall business operations.

Requirements



Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. Strong interest in HR and Administration functions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and proactive. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
