1. HEALTH AND SAFETY a) Understand the health and safety responsibilities of employers, managers, supervisors and employees within the organization. b) Implement personnel management policies to ensure that everyone in the workplace is aware of his/her responsibilities. c) Establish effective ways of meeting health and safety responsibilities and ensure that employees fulfil their health and safety responsibilities as outlined in the organizational policies and programs. d) Conducting weekly or monthly auditing in the building, staff quarters to ensure the place are kept neat and tidy and environment of those areas are safe. Report to the respective department if there is any issue happen during auditing. e) Preventing work related injuries and illnesses. f) Fostering a workplace safety culture in which employees and their supervisors work together to ensure workplace safety. g) Ensuring that the health and safety policies and procedures conform to the applicable occupational health and safety legislation and accepted best practices in the Company eg. Warehouse employee safety precautions \xe2\x80\x93 ensure proper safety measurement taken in place such as wearing safety shoe, vest during working hours, hospital team are ensure the needles, test kit are placed at proper place. h) Also sourcing right training centre on fire awareness, provide training and create SOP for fire prevention. i) Establishing procedures for enforcing company safety rules. j) Maintaining records of injuries, illnesses and workers\xe2\x80\x99 compensation k) Coordinating first aid training and the provision of first aid to employees. l) Maintanance of building ,hygience environment (Auditing , take better precaution : Xportal, IT, CCTV) 2. INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS & EMPLOYEE RELATIONS a) Manage and maintain sound employee relations by undertaking all necessary consultation and negotiation with staff on personnel issues to ensure that harmonious relationships and effective communications are maintained between management and staff. b) Address and attend to the employee grievances within a stipulated time as well as discuss with the Management for intervention if necessary c) Attend to disciplinary matters relating to counseling, show cause, suspension, termination, warning letter, domestic inquiries, etc. d) Handle grievances and disciplinary issues and ensure company complies with labour law requirement e) Investigate serious allegations and where necessary, organize the domestic inquiry proceeding where necessary f) Responsible in enforcing staff discipline in accordance to company policies and procedures g) Assist Management in maintaining performance standards and provide advice and support in managing poor performance and absenteeism. h) Monitor and provide statistical information on absence, turnover and exit interview data and provide recommendations as appropriate. i) Provide advice and assistance to employees at all levels in accordance with the company\'s policies and procedures as well as relevant employment legislation. j) Review or assess any training needs arising and source providers where necessary 8. ADMINISTRATION AND PROCUREMENT a) Prepare reports, including HR project, costing, budget, progress and other b) related reports as needed c) Represent the company at meetings and conferences and in networks with a variety of agencies, groups and organizations d) Handle administration of full statutory requirements i.e Socso, EPF, HRDF, labor office and etc e) Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department unit f) Coordinate the Administration & Operations Departments to carry out routine and ad-hoc functions g) In charge of housekeeping and security services and all administrative actions pertaining to the housekeeping and security issues including recruitment and liaise with agents. h) Responsible for preparation of new employee work stations, ID tag, car park pass, business cards, PC, telephone, stationery etc. i) Maintain and upkeep foreign worker renewal, new application and cancelation of working permit. Liaising with relevant agency, government and immigration department on foreign worker permit matter. j) Human Resources can help with a Corporate Social Responsibility program, including reducing the company\'s carbon footprint to benefit the planet. Areas including implement and encourage Animal Welfare Practices, green practices, foster a culture of social responsibility, celebrate successes, birthday party, Share and communicate the value of corporate social responsibility to employees and the community.
