Job Description


The HR Adviser collaborates with the ANZ People Business Partner to drive business outcomes and organisational goals by improving key HR processes. This includes enhancing performance management, industrial relations, policy and procedure development, and Human Resources Information Systems.

  • Offer HR advice and support for the assigned market across various functions, including business planning, performance management, talent management, workforce planning, analytics, recruitment, staff management, and succession planning.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to corporate and HR standards and policies.
  • Guide business leaders through talent-related issues, presenting options and discussing the implications of different solutions, including when to say "no."
  • Collaborate with teams to facilitate broad organisational and cultural changes, aiming to build a high-performing workforce and ensure long-term success.
  • Provide leadership with data-driven insights to support effective decision-making on key talent management issues.
  • Address individual staff issues within the market as they arise.
  • Execute quarterly and annual performance review processes and policies.
  • Work closely with other HR leaders to design and implement HR programs and processes.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing leadership coaching to support growth and professional development.
  • Assist in managerial-level job interviews and recruitment processes.
  • Offer support during organisational change processes.
  • Ensure market compliance with HR policies and guidelines.
  • Partner with leadership to drive organisational and cultural changes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures at the market level.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of the company\'s talent strategies.
Impactful Role in Driving Organisational Success|Global Exposure and Diverse Interactions
  • A university degree in human resources, law, economics, social sciences, or psychology.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in similar fields such as HR or change management, with a preference for those with experience in hotel or service industries.
  • Proven skills in business consulting and problem-solving.
  • The ability to engage and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Personal qualities that demonstrate inclusivity, a growth mindset, and self-reflection.
  • Experience and competence in working independently without the need for close supervision.
  • A strong asynchronous work ethic.
  • No specific requirement for shared service experience.
  • Experience primarily in the Australian market is desirable, with a greater focus on Australia than on New Zealand.
  • The candidate should possess proficient English language skills.
