BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS LOOKING FOR A HR GENERALIST ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES This is an exciting new opportunity whereby the HR Generalist will be able to experience all functional teams through a series of rotations within various functions to help improve their understanding and knowledge of GBS HR. The role is responsible to execute activities that are in line with the GBS HR functional teams\' scope of work and can effectively contribute to the team they are being deployed to. Reports to Recruitment Manager Reporting Level Individual Contributor Geographic Scope Direct Reporting Business Units What You Will Be Accountable For As part of a functional rotational split, you will be accountable based on the following roles & responsibilities which are closely aligned to each function\'s core priorities Function Management Is expected to support the GBS Head of HR APME Zone 3 in any ad-hoc related project or tasks that is being assigned as part of the development of GBS HR APME as a whole Recruitment (main function) Is expected to support Recruitment related activities through administrative tasks by assisting on sourcing related activities and any sort of documentation support for follow-ups with candidates Can successfully assist in any ad-hoc project (campus fair, facilitating internal upskilling trainings) which is able to support the team during a high workload period Provides Recruitment related expertise, ensuring that all administration processes are executed and aligned to BAT\'s business strategy and resourcing needs Supports projects and initiatives recruitment specific & insights (globally & Regionally for SRM) as applicable Uses HR procedures and guidance available to them to manage the processing of data changes, entry, and workflow within technology solutions Monitors own performance against service standards to ensure that support and services are provided in line with established SLAs & KPIs Identifies opportunities to improve specialist services and processes and escalates appropriately (Continuous Improvement Opportunities i.e. CI) Employee Services Maintains data configuration, ensuring employee data sync between SuccessFactors and other HR systems Uses HR procedures and guidance available to them to manage the processing of data changes, entry, and workflow within technology solutions Identifies opportunities to improve specialist services and processes and escalates appropriately (Continuous Improvement Opportunities i.e. CI) Rewards & Benefits Can quickly grasp and understand the key cycle business activities (eg Annual Salary Review, Bonus Cycle) and support the team accordingly to ensure deployment of support for our DRBU\'s runs smoothly Can successfully assist in any ad-hoc project or survey related activities (Mercer or etc.) which is able to support the team during a high workload period Talent Operations Can support the team in key business support activities (L&D virtual session setup on SF, exit interview follow-up and etc.) to ensure that all activities are executed OTIF Can successfully assist in any ad-hoc project which is able to support the team during a high workload period New Capabilities Is expected to support the various teams (People Experience Partner, Capability Acceleration Management & HR Analytics & Insights) with ad-hoc tasks assigned as and when required How Does It Work Your core function of reporting and support will remain with the Recruitment Team At points of support where required by other functional teams, you will be informed by your reporting line manager on the support required and the duration at which you will be required to provide support for the respective functions It is important to note that the above list is not exhaustive and may comprise of other ad-hoc related activities not stated. The core principle is to ensure the incumbent develops a full, well-rounded knowledge of the HR function through the series of rotations Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge Minimum degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent Attention to details and ability to produce accurate work Experiences with SuccessFactors is an added advantage Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and good analytical skills Strong customer service mind set with good communication and excellent problem-solving skills Resourceful, proactive, attentive to details and a good team player At least 1 year of related working experience in HR.
