HSE & Site Services Manager

The HSE & Site Services Manager is responsible to develop, manage and ensure HSE program for FFP Pasir Gudang Site meeting national, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local regulations for Occupational Health, HSE and the Environment as well as the Global and Regional HSE and Security standards and policies He/She is will also provide advice to correctly apply and meet those requirements and ensure site is operating HSE, securely quality and effectively both normal and in case of abnormal and emergency cases such as fire and explosion, flooding, pandemic and lead the Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Besdies that, he/she will also manage & collaborate to drive excellence for site services, security services, housekeeping, building relationship in community & with surrounding industries.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure on creating safety culture on site by establish procedure conducting training, safety campaign such as BBS and Walk The Talk and safety inspection/ audit in order to guideline/policy/ standard are understood, implemented, maintained and sustained as well. Lead Plants to achieve ESH goals
• Ensure implementation, fulfillment and improvement of Quality, Environment and Occupational Health & Employee Safety Management System 9001, 14001, 45001, by acting as Management Representative. Leadership support in PPS Implementation
• Manage license/ permit/report and fulfillment to local regulation and Bayer with coordination with other departments and Bayer community in order to ensure license to operate and fulfillment of global HSE standard/ requirement
• To develop and maintain Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Medicine programs (for sites without dedicated Site Appointed Physician) such as noise surveys, environmental monitoring, emission / ventilation assessment/monitoring and asbestos management plans.Assist and guide in developing and maintaining Occupational Medicine programs for employees.
• People Management to Coach, train and provide objectives and clear performance standards, daily guidance, timely feedback, career development, motivate and drive team results, review, counsel and reward performance, increase team productivity, meet deadlines and quality requirements and act likes proactive manner, reate a cooperative working environment within the team and identify potential successors (within or across subgroups and divisions), make proposal for Succession Plan
• Provide and Assess training needs to apply and monitor overall training programs that including competency and on boarding training.
• Monitor the recruitment and lead to selection and evaluation process from outsource manpower, contractor, supplier, and 3rd parties on site that including contract management. Manage site IR Issues if any strategically.
• Provision, coordinates and controls all local administrative activities relating to office and facility management to ensure smooth and trouble free business operations for management and staff in the site and performs those tasks in the most cost efficient way
• To facilitate safety management of Capex projects and ensure that new facilities are meeting ESH requirements.
• To have full operational oversight of unit housekeeping & security to ensure compliance with company policies along with statutory duties
• To drive a positive H&S culture on site.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
• Competent Safety & Health Officer Registered with Department of Safety, Malaysia (DOSH)
• Experience in Site administration is preferred
• 15 years experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment field with 5 years experience in managerial level
• Experience in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment e.g. PHA, PPS, ISO
• Experience in Health, Safety and Environment field
• Experience in management system GMP, ISO14001 ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
• Good skills in problem solving, analytical, communication, planning and implementation
• Good contact attitude to authority and association.
