Who you will be working for: Our client is a prominent international school in Penang. They are rapidly expanding and are looking for great talent to join their organization. What you will be doing: Responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resource function including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, payroll processing, performance management, employee relations, industrial relations as well as office administrative duties and other HR related supported services.

• Recruitment. To handle job posting, interviewing candidates, conduct reference checks, employee orientation and on-boarding program.
• Compensation & Benefits. To provide advice on performance management, salary structure and staff welfare/benefits. (payroll on HR2000)
• Training & Employee Relations. To organise training and activities to promote employee relations for increased morale and productivity.
• HR Administration. To review current HR policies and recommend improvements to the current policies and procedures. To conduct exit interview analysis and recommend improvement plans to drive employee engagement and productivity.
• Disciplinary matters. To investigate and handle all allegations of staff misconduct and to administer appropriate disciplinary actions, including carrying out domestic inquiry in accordance to the requirements of the Employment Act.
• Administration Duties. Responsible for the overall office administration and willing to be hands-on approach.

What you will need to succeed:

• At least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business Studies/Admin/HR Management or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least 5 -8 years in managerial experience in HR in a School environment.
• Well-versed in Malaysian Labour laws and prevailing HR practices and legislations.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Jelutong: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor\'s (Required)

Experience:

• Human Resources in a school environment: 2 years (Required)
• Human Resources Management: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Malaysian Blue IC (Required)
