The role
We are looking for an HR Generalist, or Human Resources Generalist in KL, Malaysia who will be responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department.
The duties include comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents, and working with other members of the department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for company employees.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process a variety of employee life cycle-related paperwork, i.e. employment letters, promotion letters, etc.\xe2\x80\xa6
  • Oversee the monthly payroll process
  • Execute and coordinate recruiting process and interviews
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Support the onboarding/off-boarding process (prep managers, track turnover data/metrics)
  • Process and maintain organization updates in HRIS to ensure reporting structures/job titles/cost centers are correct and current
  • Work with international colleagues offshore to follow up on processing requests in a timely manner
  • Respond to general requests/inquiries from employees regarding benefits, payroll, pension, etc.
  • Support managers on HR issues, including policies, procedures, practices
  • Appropriate handling and processing of confidential and time-sensitive material
  • Ensure Compliance with all local labor laws and regulations
  • Participate in other (international) projects where needed
  • - Additional Responsibilities
Oversee countries such as Japan / China, United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\xa6. In the APAC region * In charge of the payroll for Dubai.

Key Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • + 5 years in Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labor law, and knowledge of APAC region labor law is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and work independently with general direction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
