We are looking for a skilled and experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage the whole aspects and areas of HR practices. The HR Manager will be assisting the Head Group of HR in producing the HR policies and strategies. The HR Manager also is responsible to overseeing recruitment, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role plays a crucial part in shaping company culture and supporting business targets through an effective people management.
Jobs Description:
1. Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
Oversee the end-to-end hiring process (job posting, interviewing, selection).
Partner with Hiring Manager to define hiring needs and role requirements.
Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities.
Ensure a positive candidate experience and efficient onboarding process.
Take responsibility for all pre-employment safeguarding checks covering application, selection,
Recruitment and onboarding processes.
Oversee the planning and delivery of staff induction and orientation programmes.
2. Employee Relations and Industrial Relations
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Address employee grievances, mediate conflicts, and conduct investigations when necessary.
Promote effective communication between management and staff.
Organize employee engagement activities and morale-boosting programs.
Ensure adherence to company values and code of conduct.
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act or labor-related matters where applicable.
Promote a positive work culture through engagement programs, grievance handling, and communication initiatives.
Manage disciplinary actions and domestic inquiries ensuring adherence to labor laws and best practices.
3. Performance Management
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
Coach managers on providing effective feedback and setting performance goals.
Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement or training.
Align individual performance with business objectives.
4. Training & Development
Identify training needs through job analysis and performance reviews.
Design and deliver employee development programs.
Evaluate training effectiveness and track employee progress.
Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Develop and manage salary structures and incentive programs.
Benchmark compensation to ensure market competitiveness.
Handle annual reviews, bonuses, and compensation adjustments.
6. Compliance & Legal
Ensure company compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and employment standards.
Maintain and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
Manage audits, government filings, and employee records.
Provide guidance on employment law-related issues.
7. HR Information Systems (HRIS) & Reporting
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRIS platforms.
Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
Generate HR reports and analytics for management review.
Use data to inform workforce planning and decision-making.
8. Organizational Development & Culture
Lead initiatives that support organizational change and development.
Promote a strong, values-based company culture.
Facilitate internal communication strategies.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certification is a plus).
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role (typically 5+ years).
Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
Well versed in Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations
Experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred Skills:
SHRM Certified Professional /SHRM-Senior Certified Professional or Professional in Human Resources/Senior Professional Human Resources certification.
Experience in change management and organizational development.
Familiarity with payroll systems and benefits administration.
