Job Scope



Strategy

Strategize and implement the HR Department Strategic House across four pillars: Win With Customer, Win With Customers, Operational Excellence, and People Excellence. Drive human capital growth strategies and execute full 360 implementation using the PDCA (Plan, Develop, Control, Act) cycle to meet short-term deliverables and HR objectives. Develop a long-term Human Capital roadmap. Position company as an employer of choice in the Food and Beverage distribution industry. Build and cultivate strong relationships with business partners (internal departments) to support long-term business sustainability. Implement improvements in HR processes, operational effectiveness, HR SOPs, organizational behavior, and culture to achieve revenue, profit, and risk mitigation objectives. Deliver annual recruitment and retention KPIs within approved HR spend and ROI. Build a strong and motivated HR team with healthy regrettable attrition levels. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, EPF Act, SOCSO, etc. Stay updated on HR trends in retail and FMCG through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies. Prepare the Annual Budget and KPI targets and secure management approval.
Operations

Oversee and/or perform the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, training and development, manpower planning, performance management, employee relations, industrial relations, and payroll administration. Ensure effective communication and prompt resolution of grievances to maintain and improve employer-employee relations. Manage employee conflicts, provide disciplinary counselling, conduct domestic inquiries, and handle industrial relations matters when required. Oversee accurate and timely preparation and updating of HR policies and procedures. Review Compensation and Benefits schemes annually or when necessary. Drive timely and complete execution of the People Performance annual agenda: KPI setting, mid-year and year-end review, briefings, refresher sessions, training and development, promotions, compensation and benefits review, and presentation to Management. Consolidate and prepare monthly HR Reports and KPI status for management review, including required ESG-related HR reporting. Work closely with all stakeholders to achieve company revenue and profit goals. Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors or Management.
People Leadership

Provide clear direction and communication to ensure execution excellence. Lead by example, inspire, and motivate an effective HR team. Set KPIs, conduct quarterly reviews, and recommend development plans for subordinates. Build a strong, forward-thinking HR team aligned with the Group's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Requirement



Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or equivalent. Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in leadership or managerial roles, preferably hands-on in Recruitment & Retention, L&D, and Employee Engagement Strong knowledge of payroll software, statutory payments, claims, and income tax deductions. Strong understanding of Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations. Based in Puchong Commercial Office but must be willing to travel to Kuantan HQ and other branches for twice a month or as required. Experience in managing HR roles using the HRBP approach, advising on organizational charts, manpower planning or designing and implementing Employee Engagement programs is an added advantage.

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
