Come, join us on this journey!BAT\'s Digital Business Solution has an exciting opportunity for an IDT Finance Business Partner in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.As part of the Global IT Finance Team, you partake in value adding to the financial business partnering to assist the function as the future IDT Strategy is implemented. The role will provide insightful/accurate financial data and analysis as to the functions performance and report this to multiple partners.Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist Finance Business Partners in handling financial information to ensure data accuracy and effective business insights.
• Support the budgeting process, including cost forecasting, analysis, SOP review, and budget reporting into financial systems.
• Work with IT partners to ensure consistent reporting, analysis, and commentaries across geographies.
• Drive financial forecasts and provide detailed analysis and mentorship to Business Partners on IDT Services reporting.
• Run cost centers by handling journals, intercompany cost recharges, employment cost reclassifications, and GL changes.
• Coordinate intercompany transactional costs, resolve billing issues, and ensure compliance with SoX for accruals.
• Provide Budget Holder reporting dashboards for actual tracking and forecasting at the cost center level, and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure accurate accounting as per IFRS & Group requirements, clean up the balance sheet, and verify the accuracy of the cash flow forecast.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in accounting or finance, with a professional accountancy qualification (e.g., CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of group and project accounting principles and can effectively guide and support budget holders.
• Understands intercompany recharge processes and can handle high volumes of data, communicating information effectively using financial systems like SAP/BI/BPC.
• Able to identify and implement process and reporting improvements proactively.
• Collaborative and flexible, with the ability to influence stakeholders and maintain excellent working relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, supporting Budget Holders and Project Managers.
• Capable of prioritizing and managing workload, remaining calm under pressure, and knowing when to escalate.
• Experience in an IT or Technology environment is a distinct advantage, along with good knowledge of SAP, BPC, and Power BI.
