8.1 Workcell Group
8.1.1 Develop new line configuration proposals and implement proposals.
8.1.2 Review product designs to comply with engineering principles (DFA), company standards and contact requirements and related specifications.
8.1.3 Maintain capacity model for backend assembly with bottleneck identification.
8.1.4 To ensure accurate work instructions and visual aids are available.
8.1.5 To ensure production tooling, processing equipment and workstations are available and
maintained.
8.1.6 Prepare IE quote whenever require.
8.1.7. Coordinate layout, workstation and conveyor move and setup activities.
8.1.8 Prepares gantt and budget for project implementation.
8.1.9 Reduce manual assembly scrap by monitoring quality data and taking preventive measure to
improve the processes.
8.1.10 Recommends method for throughput improvement, efficiency and waste elimination by
Enhancing tooling design, processing equipments and work method.
8.1.11 IE lead of the workcell
8.1.12 People manager & trainer for super DL/AE/Engineer
8.2 Support Group
8.2.1 Monitor and continuously improve the daily efficiency, productivity and quality of manufacturing processes for assigned areas.
8.2.2 Improve the safety and throughput by modifying tooling, processing equipment and workstation.
8.2.3 Coordinates layout, workstation and conveyor setup or relocation activities. Prepare gantt and Budget for project implementation.
8.2.4 Participate in 7 steps program to drive for continuous improvement.
8.2.5 Standardization of material handling system, storage systems and workstation.
8.2.6 To ensure all engineers participate in plant wide quality program, ESD, EHS, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
8.2.7 To ensure the Master Layout are maintained.
8.2.8 To ensure the surplus gears are maintained.
8.2.9 Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
8.2.10 IE lead of the support group.
8.2.11 SME an expertise on certain areas based on the subject and the needs.
8.3 Key Responsibilities
8.3.1 Provide training and assistance to IE including direct supervision in some cases.
8.3.2 Clearly understand and execute the role and responsibility defined in JD.
8.3.3 Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
8.3.4 Setting right expectation and ensure job loading for IE.
