Encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food at low prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge.Your assignment

  • Lead the IKEA Food business plan and use the country business plan, based on Growing IKEA together and IKEA Food Direction & Strategy.
  • Responsible for implementing the range matrix (global and national) to secure a strong IKEA Food range identity that distinguishes the IKEA store from our competitors on the market.
  • Ensure the IKEA food range available at the lowest total cost by, for example, driving volume according to commercial priorities.
  • Create awareness of IKEA Food as the most important in-store marketing tool for maximising the IKEA store\xe2\x80\x99s sales potential.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment for co-workers in accordance with local legal requirements and established IKEA standards.
  • Accountable for operating the IKEA Food areas within the IKEA store in accordance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements and HACCP standards.
  • Empower, support and coach your co-workers on the job to help them perform better and grow.
QualificationsYour profile
  • Have culinary experience working in kitchen environment within hotel or F&B industry with proven leadership abilities and commercial insight in ensuring effective cost and resource management.
  • Have a deep passion for food.
  • Have experience and exposure in stock forecasting and planning.
  • Possess decision-making and problem-solving abilities with the drive to make things happen.
  • People and service-oriented, who able to support the retail peak periods of the store while still maintaining your excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with both internal and external customers.
