At Indirect Purchasing we are responsible for the global steering of the different Material Fields. We ensure proximity to our internal customers and regional markets through the worldwide presence of our Buyers. We define the Material Field and the Supplier Strategy and implement them by the persistent work of the IBTs (Indirect Material Bundling Teams). Hereby we realize bundling potentials on the highest level. We create additional values for our internal customers by early involvement and professional structuring of the purchasing process.



Category Expert for Warehouse and Empties Management within Logistics IBT

• Strategic sourcing & negotiating for the assigned material field for the region Asia Pacific without China & India
• Project Management via early involvement for projects and tenders in close collaboration with our internal business partners.
• Independently conduct tender projects & contract negotiations via IT systems (iSource)
• Implement and experiment with various negotiation methods awarding processes;
• Work towards generating long term benefits via strategic activities for Robert Bosch GmbH and its subsidiaries.
• Introduce and implement ideas generated from market trends and technological developments in the region and globally.
• Coordinate with various internal departments to improve experience of Internal & External Business Partners.
• Job scope can be expanded based on interests and competence.

• Engineering degree with focus on Supply Chain or at least 2 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management, or equivalent role.
• Desire to innovate, challenge status-quo and in addition work in a challenging & simultaneously rewarding environment.
• Should be able multi-task, pay attention to detail and meet tough timelines
• Analytical mindset with profound Microsoft Office knowledge. Use of data analysis software would be ideal.
• The job requires domestic & international travel.
• Candidate should be able to interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
• Additional language (Japanese, Korean, German, etc.) proficiency would be beneficial.
