ACCOUNTABILITY:

The incumbent will be accountable for indirect purchase for Lubrizol Southeast Asia (SEA) sites by ensuring the company\xe2\x80\x99s operational needs are met through price, quality, service delivery consideration, and a continuity of supply for indirect materials and services.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Sourcing: (40%)

• Responsible for sourcing activities not only for LSAL but also for sites in southeast Asia (i.e. Malaysia etc).
• Supplier Management: (30%)

• Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while effectively resolving supplier performance/capability issues to ensure alignment with company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic direction.
• Ensure suppliers comply with company\'s code-of-conduct programs and policies.
• Procuring: (20%)

• Perform PR Review in Ariba and follow-up with vendor on timely delivery for the given categories.
• Support global/regional category managers to roll out sourcing strategies at country level.
• Data Analysis: (20%)

• Interpret spend data and analyzing results using statistical techniques at a regional level and maintaining data bases.
• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering related field.
• Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in sourcing/commercial role within a multinational environment, preferably with experience from a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Data analytical skills and proficiency in various tools such as Power BI, Business Warehouse, Ariba and SAP.
• Language Skills:

• Fluent in both verbal and written English, an added advantage to candidate who can comprehend Mandarin and/or Malay.
