Job Description

Position: Industrial Automation Programmer Working Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor Job Responsiblities

• Identification of new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process.
• Management of a project team.
• Designing new automation equipment or processes.
• Simulating and testing these processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired.
• Writing reports for outlining new concepts, testing outcomes, and ongoing efficiency.
• Programming new automated components to the manufacturing process.
• Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes.
• Staff training where necessary \xe2\x80\x93 typically after implementing new processes or equipment or making changes to existing ones.
• Troubleshooting automated processes or equipment when errors occur.
• Software testing & validation. Establish validation protocols for PLC & Vision system programs.
• Adhere to good documentation practices.
• Attending workshops, training sessions and conferences to network with others and stay on top of field advancements.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Possess at least 2 years of working experience in automation development.
• Candidate needs to possess good attitude and passion in AI.
• Requirements:

i. Programming Language: Python/C#/C/C++. ii. Machine Learning Libraries: Numpy, Scikit-learn. iii. Deep Learning framework (optional): Pytorch, Tensorflow. iv. Computer vision library (optional but great to have): OpenCV, SimpleCV. v. Database: MySQL/SQLite/MSSQL or any SQL. vi. GUI (optional but good to have): Tkinter, PyQt/PySide/QML, Winsform/WPF, WxPython.

• Candidate will have advantage if has the following working experience: - Convolutional Neural Network - YOLOv5 - Segmentation (Mask-RCNN).

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Iskandar Puteri: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
