Management of a project team. Designing new automation equipment or processes. Simulating and testing these processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired. Writing reports for outlining new concepts, testing outcomes, and ongoing efficiency. Programming new automated components to the manufacturing process. Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation equipment or processes. Staff training where necessary - typically after implementing new processes or equipment or making changes to existing ones. Troubleshooting automated processes or equipment when errors occur. Software testing & validation. Establish validation protocols for PLC & Vision system programs. Adhere to good documentation practices. Attending workshops, training sessions and conferences to network with others and stay on top of field advancements. Job Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Industrial, Computer) or any equivalent discipline Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experiences in industry automation with project development knowledge. Candidate with automation design, PLC programming experience, understanding of computer programming and software development is required Proactive, creative thinking and able to demonstrate problem-solving skills Knowledgeable in design, development, test and debug of real-time multi-threaded applications on PC-based platform in C/C++/C# will be advantageous Familiar with hardware integration such as motors, sensors, motion and I/O controllers and machine vision hardware such as lightings, cameras will be advantageous
