Job Description

To facilitate, improve, and monitor the implementation of job safety and health in sorting center\'s daily operation. To take official report and investigate accident, near-miss event in accordance with procedure. To supervise the training of technician for nationwide sorting center to ensure productivity. To improve, and design areas in sorting process to increase productivity in parcel sorting with inclusion of safety operation. To coordinate with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and operations executive to fundamentally improve sorting center operations and utilization of the functional area in nationwide sorting center. To implement standardization methods to ensure operational and cost efficiency, and to simply maintenance. To improve current operation procedure in sorting center in the aspect of operational efficiency and on-site safety. Assist in writing the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the new business processes and procedures. Any ad-hoc task which is required by the management. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Industrial), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent. At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to work in team, work under pressure and tight deadlines. Basic knowledge in CAD and Modelling Software is required. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel is required. Perform detailed hands-on skills. Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties. Candidate must be willing to travel across Malaysia.
