: To support day to day operations on SAN administrations in all areas of SAN infrastructure. Storage would be Hitachi, NetApp, HPE, Dell EMC, IBM, Huawei and others. The role required taking ownership of problem incidents till resolut : To support day to day operations on SAN administrations in all areas of SAN infrastructure. Storage would be Hitachi, NetApp, HPE, Dell EMC, IBM, Huawei and others. The role required taking ownership of problem incidents till resolutions with impact analysis and preventive measurement. Responsibilities Provide operational support for Hitachi, NetApp, HPE, Dell EMC, IBM, Huawei storage and brocade SAN switches administration. Execute across-site replication of significant DR data and able to perform reverse replication upon DR requirements Provide technical assistance to project team and server operation teams. Perform fault investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, recovery and root cause analysis for incidents relating to SAN fabrics Track and plan for upgrade on storage and related product before product obsolescence Conduct performance analysis, tuning, automate system operation, capacity planning & performance management Track and drive patch management & software upgrades to ensure systems patches are kept up to date Establish adequate monitoring scripts/systems to predict parts failure for preventive measurement Apply new technology and process to improve system supportability, recoverability, availability and performance Able to support and response to add-hoc request from time to time including off office working timeframe Support Audit and compliance activities Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Resident Engineers Qualifications Requirements At least 5 years system support experience on SAN infrastructure Hands -on experience on Hitachi, NetApp, HPE, Dell EMC, Huawei, IBM Storages and Brocade SAN Switches Good knowledge in HA Storage (Example GAD is preferred), ALUA settings, CCI operations Good knowledge in Networking concepts not limited to TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Link Aggregation, IPMP/Bonding/Ether Channel, Virtual Switches Knowledge in multipathing of IO and Network layer at server Possess good technical knowledge in implementing, troubleshoot, performance tuning of SAN hardware. Awareness of SAN infrastructure support as critical services and require fast response time towards incidents Working knowledge of Windows OS, AIX, Solaris and Linux is preferred Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
