Summary

"The role of Infrastructure Delivery Analyst is to support and participate in Infrastructure Delivery activities to ensure timely infrastructure handover to customer, and release to production of new/enhanced infrastructure and services.

"

Responsibilities

The role of Infrastructure Delivery Analyst ensures execution of the following activities related to delivery of infrastructure:

• Apply Infrastructure build process across the group for Production Services infrastructure delivery, build, migrations and release to production

• Execute project management activities (incl. project kick off, reporting, consolidation, analysis of reports, budget, timeframes, project status) for small Hosting or Infrastrurcture services related projects, HW upgrades and decommissioning.

• Regularly review project status, report on progress and risk to stakeholders.

• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the requirement and that project processess are in compliance.

• Manage change requests (new hosting services, migrations, hardware upgrades, Decommissioning) to production environment while minimizing adverse impact to business, responsibility for quality of documents and coordination within Production Services

• Lead or support small or medium projects with low complexity by providing expertise in planning project timelines, deliverables, resources and quality control of deliverables.

• Manage on time delivery and release to production of Hosting and Infrastructure services into Production Services to meet customer timescales and requirements

• Obtain signoff of Operations Acceptance Testing (OAT) managed projects/changes related to new infrastructure release to production. These Acceptance tests are for all infrastructure and components supported by DHL IT Services Production services such as Operating System, Databases, Storage Area Network, Operations monitoring tool, Backup and Middleware

• Single point of contact for multiple specific projects on behalf of Production Services

Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge in Infrastructure used by the DataCentre such as Operating System, Databases, Storage Area Network, Operations monitoring tool, Backup and Middleware

• Experience in a large computing environment preferable

• University degree in computing/technical/management area

• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with project team member, technical team and stakeholder

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

• Advanced in Ms Office applications

Advantage will be additional experience in any of the following skills :

• Experience with environment using ITIL best practices

• Experience with change management and release to production processes

• Experience in a large computing environment
