MediaMonks is looking for an Insights Analyst to join our team and help drive initiatives across new business and our stable of clients. In this position you will drive qualitative and quantitative research, conduct trend and insight desk research, manage relationships with external research agencies, and develop high quality, unique insights to inform growth strategies and new business pitches.
In the Data & Insights Manager position, you\'ll connect the (data) dots to come up with clear client-friendly narratives of opportunities, hypotheses, issues, etc. As part of the team, you\'ll be responsible for uncovering insights in new business pitches, as well as planning and implementing learning programs for existing clients, monitoring results and finding ways of optimizing marketing efforts from a social media point of view. This is a role where you\'ll partner with Client and Growth Teams from all over the world, as well as with strategies from a wide range of disciplines and categories. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities.
In this role you will:
  • Translate the wealth of social media data points into cohesive and actionable insights for clients and prospects.
  • Develop data strategies and roadmaps to propel client marketing activities forward.
  • Conduct social listening analysis on behalf of our clients and prospects and work with wider teams to make data impact the work.
  • Design and conduct content optimization programs, such as "Test and learn", engagement analysis, etc.
  • Collaborate with local MediaMonks offices to establish a cohesive approach to data in client and new business projects.
  • Collaborate with other global social data teams, offering a view into major global projects.
  • Define measurement, KPIs and benchmarks frameworks for our projects.
  • Own the reporting and analysis work for both campaigns and always on social media projects.
  • Present frequently to clients and attend client meetings, sometimes at client locations.
  • Work with clients, content strategists and 3rd party data providers to enable automation of dynamic assets, personalized messaging and other types of content when required.
  • Enhance the data understanding of other departments of the agency.
  • Grow the data team by delivering high quality work that makes clients want for more.
  • Vet and provide POVs on emerging data platforms, ensuring MM has the latest & greatest in terms of platform, content & influencer analysis, in both paid & organic realms.

Requirements

  • 4+ years\' experience operating in a Data Strategy (Data Planning) function, ideally within a digital agency environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in explaining the technical details of analytics in a non-technical way to people outside the disciplines.
  • Experience working with global accounts.
  • Strategic thinking with strong knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Strong customer journey planning across digital and offline channels.
  • Understanding of modern online analytical techniques.
  • High-level numeracy and analysis skills.
  • Work with distributed teams in multiple time zones.

Technical requirements:
  • Experience working with Campaign Operations teams using Adobe Campaign or similar.
  • Website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst).
  • Social analytics tools (e.g., Sysomos, Radian 6).
  • Data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau).
  • Google Suite, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, YouTube Analytics, SQL, Data Studio, Social Listening Tools and Social Analytics tools.
