You will report to the Field Sales Manager, in Malaysia.

The position
As a Sales Executive, you have full accountability for the assigned region to achieve market share growth. You will build effective relationships with assigned customers along with providing customers with information on our products, devices, and indications and ensure timely and consistent follow-up. You are also expected to actively participate and contribute effectively to regional meetings, national conferences, and other related meetings.

Your duties will also include the following:

  • Promote and sell Novo Nordisk insulin range of products to healthcare professionals in hospitals covering Private sector including Institutions and General Practice channel in achieving the annual sales target allocated, conduct territory business plan at the frequency and format requested by the company, maintain up-to-date information on customers in customer master file and achieve sales effectiveness KPIs targets set by the company.
  • Take part in exhibitions, symposiums, and congresses as needed for the promotion of the company products.
  • Plan and execute several medical activities as requested, and ensure to meet deadlines for submitting sales reports, sales forecasts, itineraries, and other documents as requested. You will also report adverse events and customer complaints according to the procedure.
  • Negotiate and convince administrators and payers on sufficient funding given to Novo Nordisk products. Most importantly, have good product knowledge on all assigned Novo Nordisk products.
  • You will work alongside colleagues from Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory Affairs (CMR) to maximize the sales of Novo Nordisk Products while complying to internal and external requirements on business ethics and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience covering the private sector, especially Institutions and General Practice is preferred.
  • A university degree in any science, business, marketing, or equivalent is required.
  • Self-starter, highly engaged and positive, dynamic, and highly results-driven with excellent networking abilities.
  • You are able and willing to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment. You demonstrate a good track record and medical knowledge.
  • You are fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
