Job Description

Job Purpose Management and maintenance of companies\' insurance portfolio of all SDPB and all the related subsidiaries. To review insurance requirement and risk assessment Involve in the renewal of the Group insurance programme Claims handling and negotiations from the notification to settlement stages. Insurance point of reference for operation units and colleagues Actively involved in ad-hocs projects for the betterment of insurance department. i.e insurance system etc. Assist in developing and updating of insurance related SOP and policies to ensure group compliance with other related laws. Job Responsibilities Assist to Liaise between clients and insurance companies in finding the client the best deal for insurance coverage. Negotiate policy terms and premium with Insurance providers. Able to manage product inquiry and handle calls and email in regard to stakeholder inquiries about products and services. Manage claims handling and administration of claims processes and collection in finance. Assist in Insurance renewal and amending existing policies as per Group request. Coordinate in delivering the insurance communication when there is campaign/training from insurance company. Attend to in-house and external for insurance services Source for competitive insurance quotes, prepare and present insurance quotations, arranging to file in issue insurance cover notes and advice slips Monitoring of insurance renewals to ensure all insurance policies are renewed promptly Maintain record of insurance policies and payment bills Checking and delivering of insurance policies and endorsement to relevant parties Preparation of monthly performance reports To ensure all insurance premiums are paid promptly Assist in reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise required. Education/ Professional Qualification Any Diploma/Degree in Business Admin in related field Certificate Insurance Institute (CII) Professional Experience 2-3 years\' experience in insurance industry
