Job Title:- Intercompany Accountant

Location:- Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur

Role Summary:-

Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

Essential Responsibilities:-

Assist with Project CFIN to HFM Tie-Out Assist to perform month-end closing activities to ensure recording of journal entries and assist with Intercompany tie-out Working with the Intercompany Receivables and Payables invoices and purchase orders Reconciliation of Intercompany invoices and assist with unreconciled accounts Preparing, posting and running reports to share information required for month-end reports and deadlines Identifying and solving backlog issues to ensure daily tasks are completed on-time Providing monthly, quarterly, financial data and reviews to share with internal finance teams and to support internal auditing Identifying and solving backlog issues to ensure daily tasks are completed on-time Providing monthly, quarterly, financial data and reviews to share with internal finance teams Assist with process flows and documentation updates Collaborating with team and support on existing projects and initiatives

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

Years of experience: 3-5 years Field of experience: Finance / Accounting Technical Skills: Financial analysis & reporting, Accounting Standards knowledge (IFRS / GAAP) Soft Skills: Critical thinking, Problem Solving and adaptability Tools or Software (Required): SAP or Oracle, Excel, HFM Education Qualifications: Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Industry Background or Experience (Required): Finance, Shared services Target Companies: Shared Services of any company and audit / professional firms (e.g. PWX, EY, Deloitte) Off-limits Companies: KPMG Important Keywords to be in the CV: Accountant, finance, analyst, SAP, Oracle, HFM, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, Controllership, IFRS, GAAP, statutory, financial statements, P&L, audit, analytics

Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-

ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage Experience in Shared Service will be added advantage Possess positive thinking and attitude, professionalism, takes ownership of and accountability of the work product. Self-starter with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Team-player and customer-centric attitude Experience in SAP, Pascal or Oracle will be added advantage

Other Requirements:-

National or Expat: National Rotation / Work Schedule: 40 Hours per week Alternative / Target Job Titles: Accountant Role base (Office, Onshore, Offshore or Workshop): Office Will the worker be working at a customer's facility? Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
