The Platform Services team at ZALORA is young, highly dynamic and energetic. The aim of the Platform Services team is to provide ZALORA\xe2\x80\x99s strategic brand partners with tailored solutions that will help our partners to grow their business, ranging from fulfillment to marketing, to digital eProduction and data analytics. Think of us as intrapreneurs within ZALORA. The team is constantly on the lookout for new business opportunities to drive ZALORA to be the No. 1 fashion e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia.

As the Platform Services vertical of ZALORA\xe2\x80\x99s business grows, we are looking for a 1SS (One Stock Solution) Business Development Intern. In this role you will be involved in lead generation, onboarding and incubation brand.

This is a dynamic role in a fast-paced and growing business where you will work closely with the Regional 1SS Team and get extensive regional and cross-functional exposure. Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze internal and external market data to derive business insights and capture a pipeline of opportunities for new business development;
  • Supporting the team on variety of projects, co-managing small to medium project with cross-functional teams; eg. onboarding journey experience improvement project.
  • Understand fully all products under Partner Services has to offer and customize the 1SS solution to client based on the business needs;
  • Helping onboard potential client from sale pipeline to 1SS solution in timely manner;
  • Work closely with 1SS team member to ensure client receive enough support during onboarding so that 1SS experience to be maintained at all time;
  • Coordination with cross department e.g. category manager on the priority leads to be onboarded to 1SS;
  • Monitor and drive the performance of the onboarded brands for the first 3 months by getting them to adopt the 1SS tools/environment created by Zalora, tools which will enable the brands to grow and run independently after the 3-month incubation period;
  • Building good relationships and trust with client to understand more about their business and their key success factors;
  • Update the Team Lead on weekly progress.
Requirements:
  • Possess a good analytical mind
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Should be a self-starter, quick learner, go-getter, proactive and should have the ability to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Nimble, agile, able to nurture relationships and to handle the job effectively
  • Desire to achieve results, attention to details and willingness to face challenges with the positive attitude
  • Diligent, organized and methodological with excellent communication
The ideal candidate should display remarkable hunger, drive, and an ability to learn on the job. Interest for building strong foundations with a hands-on attitude to get things done and meet short deadlines. Excellent multi-tasking and strong communication skills to coordinate between departments, especially in simplifying and explaining complex concepts. Very good attention to details and comfort with managing quality. Willing to work in a fast-paced constantly changing and collaborative environment.

Platform Services Team

Platform Services & Support team is the integral team within ZALORA Commercial department, bridging the discussions and leading projects between the Supply Chain, Operations, Tech & Commercial teams of ZALORA. The primary focus of Platform Services & Support team is to create superior experience for our key Trade business partners (brands e.g. Nike, Mango, Topshop, etc.), by focusing on (1) excellent customer service (2) fast onboarding process, (3) timely resolution of queries and (4) finding opportunities for mutual growth by focusing on new services and avenues to drive partnerships with brands to the next level.
