Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is partnered with an MNC that distributes paper and board. Our esteemed client focuses on distributing quality packaging paper materials and board for the different markets. They are present globally.

Job summary

The successful applicant will be a core part of the internal sales team reporting directly to the Head of Department. The candidate will be managing order entry, management, processing all the way till payment is through. He or she will be liaising very closely with the head office in Europe, and the suppliers and customers.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Order entry

• Able to assess that order is in line with company policy and ensure all management approval is received prior to processing.
• Able to prepare accurate margin calculation.
• Be a gatekeeper of orders for company and highlight any irregularities

• Order management

• Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner with customer/supplier
• Detailed follow up on payments/documents to ensure smooth flow in order process
• Accurate documentation - always only use system documents
• Report any non-compliance immediately to head of department
• Inform finance team in a timely manner for incoming/outgoing payments
• Updated required management files in a timely manner

• Others

• Accurate archiving of order file
• Assist sales team with sample arrangement

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in relevant fields or any equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the order management/internal sales line.
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Stakeholder management skills and multitasking skills are an added advantage.
• Familiarity with numbers and order entry experience is a must have.
