Our client is a well established and industry leader in international multi-modal logistics forwarding industry. The company provides mainly ocean freight and warehousing for their customers. Currently they have an opportunity for a freight forwarding all rounder to handle a combination of Import and Export operations within their business main office in Kelana Jaya. Key responsibilities
Liaising with Customers, suppliers, overseas agents/offices.
Coordinating export documentation requirements including receipt and verification of export documentation, issuing booking confirmation.
Export shipment registration requirements and issue pre alerts to overseas office/agents.
Assist with coordination of export collection/import deliveries.
Verification of documents received from overseas to ensure complete and accurate.
Invoicing customer/agents and verifying vendor invoices for approval.
The Person Malaysians with a Diploma qualification in Freight/Shipping Management or Business Administration. To be successful in this role, candidates must be a hands on team player with a positive attitude and outgoing personality. Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years experience within a freight forwarding role in order to carry out the job successfully. Possess excellent verbal/written communications skills in this case English Good customer service skills as the job requires interface with a variety of people in domestic and overseas fronts. Experience with the computer system Cargowise is necessary.
