Job Description
- Position: International Freight Coordinator.
- Salary: RM 2500-3500.
- Work Location: Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with Customers, suppliers, overseas agents/offices.
- Coordinating export documentation requirements including receipt and verification of export documentation, issuing booking confirmation.
- Export shipment registration requirements and issue pre alerts to overseas office/agents.
- Assist with coordination of export collection/import deliveries.
- Verification of documents received from overseas to ensure complete and accurate.
- Invoicing customer/agents and verifying vendor invoices for approval.
Malaysians with a Diploma qualification in Freight/Shipping Management or Business Administration.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be a hands on team player with a positive attitude and outgoing personality.
Candidates will need to have a minimum of 2 years experience within a freight forwarding role in order to carry out the job successfully.
Possess excellent verbal/written communications skills in this case English
Good customer service skills as the job requires interface with a variety of people in domestic and overseas fronts.
Experience with the computer system Cargowise is necessary.
