WE'RE HIRING: Retail & E-Commerce Assistant (Intern / Fresh Graduate Welcome!)

This is an on-site position only. Remote work is not available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. E-Commerce & Website Management

Assist in managing and processing orders on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Facebook. Help update and maintain product listings on our website and online marketplaces (e.g., titles, images, descriptions, and pricing). Monitor website content and report any issues like broken links or incorrect product details.

2. Order Coordination & Fulfillment

Track online orders from placement to delivery and ensure timely dispatch. Coordinate with delivery partners and follow up on delayed shipments. Update customers on their order status when necessary.

3. Data Entry & Performance Reporting

Compile and assist in preparing daily or weekly sales reports. Record and organize customer feedback and inquiries. Track performance of digital campaigns and marketing activities.

4. Customer Support & Inquiries

Respond to customer inquiries through walk-in, phone, or online channels. Recommend suitable baking products and tools based on customer needs. Provide basic support or escalate complex issues to senior staff. Follow up with customers post-purchase for feedback or support.

5. Social Media & Marketing Support

Assist with creating engaging content such as product highlights, baking tips, and short videos. Capture photos and clips of new products and promotions for online use. Help support promotional events, in-store sampling, or mini campaigns.

6. General Administrative Support

Prepare documents such as invoices, receipts, delivery orders, and packing slips. Organize and file records and assist in maintaining updated stock or price lists.

7. Product Display & Merchandising

Restock and arrange store shelves to ensure a clean and appealing presentation. Ensure all products are correctly priced and labeled. Support visual merchandising for promotions, holidays, or campaigns.

8. Inventory Support

Monitor and report low stock levels or out-of-stock items. Assist with stock counts and receiving deliveries. Check for expired items and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).

9. Sales & Order Processing

Support daily sales using the POS system. Assist in packing customer purchases and online orders neatly. Encourage upselling by informing customers about new arrivals and promotions.

10. Learning & Product Familiarity

Learn about baking ingredients, tools, and how to use them. Understand the customer journey from online order to delivery. Gain exposure to e-commerce workflows and retail processes.

11. Store Cleanliness & Maintenance

Maintain a tidy, organized, and sanitary workspace. Clean sample/demo equipment and keep packing areas neat.

12. Team Collaboration

Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors. Work together with store, inventory, and marketing teams for smooth daily operations.

13. Workshop & Event Assistance (if applicable)

Support preparation for baking demos, workshops, or in-store events. Assist with setup, registration, and participant engagement. Help with cleanup and event reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Familiar with major social media platforms and basic advertising tools. Able to use content creation tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Creative thinker with strong communication skills (both written and verbal). A team player who can also work independently and responsibly. Fresh graduates and interns are welcome to apply!

Pay: RM700.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
