You will be immersed in our Mechanical Rotating department, learning the ins and outs of plant maintenance and gaining valuable insights into the daily operations of a dynamic utility company. Throughout your internship, you will be guided by experienced professionals, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the field.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily maintenance and operation of mechanical rotating equipment.
• Learn about equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand plant maintenance strategies.
• Participate in equipment performance monitoring and data analysis.
• Help with the implementation of maintenance schedules and protocols.
• Gain exposure to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Assist in the documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Support the team in identifying and addressing mechanical issues.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in plant maintenance and operation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Prior experience in a similar role or relevant internships is an advantage.
