Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using React for frontend and Python-based frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django) for backend. Build, integrate, and consume RESTful APIs to support frontend-backend interactions. Work with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis. Participate in code reviews, version control operations (Git), and collaborative software development using branching strategies and pull requests. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. To undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience with frontend development using

React/JavaScript

. Familiarity with backend development using one of the following:

Flask

,

FastAPI

, or

Django

. Understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Experience working with

databases

such as

PostgreSQL

,

MySQL

, or

Redis

. Proficiency in using

Git

for version control, including branching and resolving merge conflicts. Applicants must be willing to work in 3 Two Square, Petaling Jaya.

Nice to Have

Experience with

Docker

for containerization of applications. Exposure to

Kubernetes

for orchestration of containerized workloads. Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines

for automated testing and deployment.

Pay: Up to RM1,000.00 per month
