KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure that structured end-to-end internal disciplinary process including investigation and prosecution is carried out in accordance to Disciplinary Procedure Rules.
  • Prepare Disciplinary Committee Report, Investigation Report, or any other relevant reports and documentation to Immediate Supervisor and Head of EIR for cases handled
  • Assist the Head of EIR in handling referral cases, non-compliance of the Collective Agreement or other trade disputes reported to the Industrial Relations Department or the Industrial Court.
  • Provide advisory services pertaining to Employees & Industrial Relations matters.
  • Assist the Head of EIR in drafting E&IR-related policies to be implemented by the Company and thereafter to conduct awareness on disciplinary issues accordingly.
  • Assist the Head of EIR in managing all cases reported to the Labour / Industrial Relations Department and/or the Labour/ Industrial Relations Courts.
  • Assist the Head of EIR in managing the day-to-day function of the Division to ensure the smooth running of the Division within the Department.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE (KNOW-HOW)
  • Master\'s/Bachelor\'s Degree in Laws/Industrial Relations/Human Resources or equivalent from any recognized universities.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in legal, auditing, investigation, prosecution or handling Employees & Industrial Relations matter.
THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES (PROBLEM-SOLVING)
  • Perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure.
  • Perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
  • Comply with existing Labour laws, code of conduct and good Industrial Relations practices.
  • Keep abreast with changes in Labour laws, IR practices and decisions of the Industrial Courts.
  • Maintain good working relationship with all levels of supervisors in order to secure effective cooperation & assistance before, during & after investigation.
  • Maintain effective contact with outside agencies like ACA, Industrial Relations & Labour Departments to ensure amiable relations with these agencies.
  • Able to adapt to unpredictable situations and willing to face challenges as part of the investigation process & disciplinary actions.
