Remuneration: Pays up to RM8,000

About our client:
Our client is one of the leading Life Insurance & Investment company in Malaysia. As part of an international financial services group, the client offers a range of life insurance products in Malaysia including endowment plans, investment-linked plans, term life plans, and medical plans.

About your role:

• Plans and conducts comprehensive IT audits covering various aspects (system development, application, network, IT operations, system security, and Disaster Recovery).
• Manages audits to ensure compliance with standard policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and established scope and objectives.
• Ensures adequate coverage and scope of audit reviews are performed.
• Prepares and presents concise, accurate written audit reports, recommending solutions to minimize control deficiencies or optimize effectiveness.
• Ensures timely issuance of audit reports.
• Creates working papers for proper documentation of completed reviews.
• Promotes the use of computerized audit techniques and develops methods for reviewing computerized information systems.
• Follows up on audit observations to ensure adequate corrective actions by management and validates closed observations.
• Participates as an independent observer in project development and implementation.
• Executes ad hoc reviews and assignments as directed by the IT Audit Manager or Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) in a timely manner.

Criteria:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISM, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in IT auditing, internal auditing, or IT compliance roles.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, applications, and information security controls.
