Job Description


This position is responsible for managing and supporting the point-of-sale (POS) systems across all retail outlets. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting POS hardware and software. The role ensures efficient sales transactions, data integrity, and system security. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and comprehensive onboarding and development opportunities are provided.Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and Set Up Hardware and Software: Ensure proper installation and configuration of computer hardware, software and ERP systems.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to systems, software and hardware via phone, instant messaging, email or remote desktop.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Resolve hardware, software and internet-related issues at HQ and retail outlets within established time frames.
  • Network Management: Monitor and manage network performance, troubleshoot network issues and ensure network security through firewalls, antivirus software and other security measures.
  • Enforce IT Policies: Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain IT Documentation: Keep up-to-date documentation of IT systems, network configurations and asset inventories.
  • POS System Support: Assist in the daily operation of POS systems, ensuring smooth functionality across all retail locations.
  • POS System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of POS systems with back-end systems, such as inventory and finance management.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in an IT-related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with hands-on POS systems (hardware/software) and network troubleshooting.
  • CCNA or other network certifications.
  • Previous IT experience in the retail industry is preferred.
