About the job IT Executive

Our client is a major player in the retail industry, with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region.

\xef\xbb\xbfThey are currently looking for an \xef\xbb\xbfIT EXECUTIVE \xef\xbb\xbfto join their growing management team, in line with their business expansion plans.

\xef\xbb\xbfKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
• Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
• Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
• Creating user accounts and performing access control.
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
• Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
• Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures. Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
• Supervising and liaising with IT outsourcing company, as well as providing IT support.
• Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.
• Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
• Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems.
• Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
• Supervise and provide end-user services, including helpdesk and technical support services.
• Manage servers, security solutions, and equipment.
• Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and
• procedures.
• Preparing and completing IT reports/IT security check sheet accurately as per Japan Head Quarter requirements and attend to IT audit from time to time including for all our related subsidiaries/companies/business entities etc.
• Negotiate and administer vendor, outsource, and consultant contracts and service agreements.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex hardware problems on computer systems; perform advanced hardware repairs, maintenance, technical assistance, and support on a range of PC computers and peripherals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
• Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
• At least \xef\xbb\xbf2 years \xef\xbb\xbfworking experience in a similar role.
• Willing to work extended hours. --- Flexible and able to standby when necessary.\xef\xbb\xbf
• Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess a strong background in the Windows OS and Windows Server OS.
• Advanced knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify a wide range of complex computer hardware and software problems.
• Ability to effectively supervise and monitor the work progress of IT outsource company.
• Ability to provide advanced technical assistance and comprehensive problem resolution to end users.
• Ability to install and configure computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

Salary: up to RM6,000/month

Based in KL city centre

Working days: Mon - Fri (\xef\xbb\xbf9am to 6pm)
