or junior IT support candidate to gain real-world technical experience and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary: PC & Network Support
Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other office IT hardware.
Perform routine hardware troubleshooting and coordinate repair or replacement when needed.
Support network infrastructure including routers, switches, access points, and basic cabling.
Monitor and maintain local area network (LAN) connectivity and address connectivity issues.
Ensure all IT hardware and endpoints are properly updated and secured.
Secondary: L1 Application Support
Provide Level 1 support for in-house systems used in dormitory and foreign worker management (e.g., login issues, system errors, password resets).
Log and track user-reported issues; escalate unresolved problems to Level 2 or development teams.
Assist in user training and create simple documentation (e.g., user guides, FAQs).
Monitor application usage and system availability.
Assist with software installations and updates on user machines.
Maintain IT inventory records for hardware, software, and licenses.
Ensure regular system backups and basic data recovery readiness.
Participate in IT projects, deployments, and improvement initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Internship or part-time experience in IT support will be a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
Good understanding of computer hardware and basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP, etc.).
Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office troubleshooting.
Willingness to learn new systems and tools.
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently when required.
Willing to support users on-site and respond to hardware or system issues promptly.
