Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Executive (Support) to join our team. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to end users, managing IT assets, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth operations of network, hardware, and software within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
User Support
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to internal staff across branches (onsite and remote).
Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, network, printers, and peripherals.
Handle support tickets, follow up until resolution, and maintain support logs.
System & Network Maintenance
Perform system updates, patching, and antivirus management.
Assist in maintaining LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and report any downtime or abnormalities.
Device & Asset Management
Manage IT assets including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
Perform new device setup, imaging, and user onboarding/offboarding.
Keep accurate inventory records and ensure all devices are properly tagged.
Microsoft & Cloud Services
Support users in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Assist in Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and Intune device compliance setup.
Ensure proper data backup and access control within the company domain.
Documentation & Process
Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and checklists.
Support implementation of IT policies and cybersecurity measures.
Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, server consolidation, or network expansion.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment.
Good understanding of:
o Windows OS, Microsoft 365 Admin
o Networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, VPN)
o Users & endpoint management
Experience with Intune / Entra / Cloud Storage is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Able to work independently and support multiple branches if required.
Possess own transport and willing to travel when necessary.
Added Advantage
Experience in IT asset management, server maintenance, or ITIL practices.
Knowledge in CCTV, IP Phone, or gate system troubleshooting.
Familiar with cloud apps, ERP, or warehouse systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
