company is establishing its Malaysia office, and this role will be the
sole technical support staff
for the first 2-3 years. The Helpdesk Specialist will manage daily IT operations, provide hands-on technical support, and coordinate with the China IT team and local vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver L1-L2 helpdesk support, diagnose technical issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with China helpdesk, server/network teams, and Malaysia vendors.
Manage network and server troubleshooting.
Oversee IT operations including device management, procurement, conferencing systems, and Windows environment.
Maintain IT documentation and knowledge base.
Support and lead local/global IT projects and ensure successful implementation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (preferred).
5+ years in IT operations with experience in SLA/KPI environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, L2 troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge of network and server administration; Linux/Windows server experience is a plus.
English and Mandarin proficiency (spoken Mandarin OK).
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
