Job Description

As a IT INTERN, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support and monitoring services to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's IT infrastructure. Some of your key duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Monitoring network devices, systems, and applications using various monitoring tools to detect and troubleshoot any issues.

2. Responding to alerts and notifications generated by monitoring tools and taking appropriate action to resolve the issue, escalating as necessary.

3. Providing technical support to end-users and other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, hardware, software, and applications.

4. Documenting all incidents and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all incidents are properly logged and tracked.

5. Assisting in the implementation of new network systems, applications, and services.

6. Performing routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updating software, and firmware upgrades.

7. Participating in on-call rotation and providing 24/7 support for critical systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2. Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and general hardware/software troubleshooting.

3. Familiarity with networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with end-users and other IT teams.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

6. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
