We are seeking a proactive IT Support Intern to assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting services for our business operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills in Tamil & English, be eager to learn, and be willing to travel to various locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Troubleshoot IT-related issues via phone, remote support tools, or on-site visits.
Support end-users with software installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
Maintain IT documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting steps, and inventory records.
Assist with system upgrades, backups, and security updates.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth IT operations.
Travel to various locations as needed to provide on-site IT support.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
Proficiency in Tamil, Malay & English.
Problem-solving mindset with a keen interest in IT support and troubleshooting.
Willingness to travel for on-site support when required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and IT security practices is an advantage.
