IT Network Engineer
KL, Selangor
*Salary RM 4,000 - RM 6,500*

Requirements:

• Working experience with Cisco products is required, notably in routing, switching, wireless, and SDWAN.
• Three years of expertise with administration, implementation, and troubleshooting of network routers, layer 2 and 3 switches, and
• Enterprise-level network troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair expertise, or something comparable
• Must good in English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.
• Knowledge with the protocols and tools used by SNMP, Syslog, network alarms, and performance monitoring.
• 2 years of experience managing many business units with a worldwide presence in a medium or big organisation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Visio design and documentation software
• Experience with SD-WAN (Viptela/Cisco/Silver Peak)
• Experience with Cisco wireless controllers
• Zscaler product suite experience (ZPA/ZIA/ZDX)
• Working understanding of applications that support ticketing, workforce, quality, and knowledge management.
• Have solid technical expertise and hands-on experience setting up the foundational components of the IT architecture.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience evolving to Agile development lifecycles
• Professional certifications related to Cisco CCNP and Palo Alto.

Responsibilities:

• Offer provisioning, administration, and operational assistance for the whole world's networks. Watch over the WAN, SDWAN, LAN, WLAN, and other systems and network components that make up the global network.
• In charge of putting into action the techniques, protocols, and practises for setting up, maintaining, enhancing, and fixing network components and supporting infrastructure. This covers inventory management, design documentation, change management, disaster recovery, security monitoring, and incident tracking.
• Using NMS tools, locate, isolate, and address any network-wide incidents. Clearly record each event and any subsequent actions in the incident ticketing system.
• In charge of timely coordination of repairs, event alerts, and escalations in connection with network outages, impairments, or maintenance tasks.
• Coordinates repair work with third-party suppliers, opens tickets with them, etc.
• Plan, develop, and implement network-related changes; validate and test for redundancy after modifications; and document and apply changes in accordance with ITIL best practises.
• Assure that the CMDB, inventory, network diagrams, and other supporting papers are regularly updated.
