Job Description

• Possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Studies/Engineering/Science or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably familiar with programming languages - Java, JavaScript or PHP and databases - Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge in computer and printer trouble-shooting as well as in Microsoft operating systems, network, Linux, Infor LN ERP or other open source software.
• Familiar with LN ERP coding
• Proactive and willing to learn.
• Preferably staying in Penang Island.

• Provides effective end-user support on IT hardware and software issues
• Carries out installation and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers
• Provides technical assistance to end users on all computer, network and application issues in a timely manner
• Troubleshoots computer and network problems for end users
• Assists to deploy new applications, software or updates to end user devices and network devices
• Checks to ensure setup and installations are working properly
• Guides end users on using the systems
• Maintains IT asset database and documentation
• Administration of IT users' account
• To provide after hours support according to work requirements and job schedule
• To perform any other tasks or assignments as directed by the management from time to time
