Job Title: IT Project Manager (Regional Projects - Financial Institutions)

Experience Required:
5+ years in Project Management, with strong exposure to Regional IT Projects within Financial Institutions
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
Core Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and governance standards.
Project Planning & Initiation:
Develop high-level project plans, define milestones, and align expectations with regional stakeholders.
Scope, Time & Budget Management:
Manage project timelines, define deliverables, estimate costs, and control budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Risk & Issue Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders; facilitate meetings, presentations, and reporting. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for deliverable completion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Business Units, Group Technology, and regional project teams to ensure seamless tracking and execution of both business and IT-related activities.
Quality Assurance:
Manage testing, review feedback loops, and coordinate with the Test Manager to ensure timely and complete test phases.
Change Management:
Evaluate and manage change requests, ensuring proper alignment with project objectives and scope.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Track progress against milestones, provide regular status updates to management, and ensure transparency across all phases.
Project Closure:
Finalize all activities, documentation, and handover deliverables for post-implementation review.
Deployment & Change Management
Develop, monitor, and execute deployment strategies and detailed deployment plans.
Coordinate
system cutover
and assist in
command centre setup
during deployment.
Manage
organizational change management (OCM)
processes to ensure successful adoption of new systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to address post-live stabilization and ensure business continuity.
Competencies & Skills
Minimum
10 years
of project management experience, with strong exposure to
financial institutions or banking projects
.
Proven ability to manage
regional, multi-country projects
with complex stakeholder and vendor environments.
Strong knowledge of
project management frameworks and methodologies
(e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Experience in managing
senior stakeholders

Excellent
analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Strong
interpersonal and communication skills

Solid experience in
budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management

IT Project Management: 3 years (Required)
Financial institutions or banking projects.: 3 years (Preferred)
